The “ E ” Beyond Physical Limitations :
Experience and Explore the eSIM
What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital version of the traditional SIM card that lets you activate a mobile plan without needing a physical card. This allows users to easily switch between carriers or plans directly on their device.
Key features of eSIMs on iPhones include:
-
Multiple eSIMs: You can store eight or more eSIMs on an iPhone, though only one or two can be active at a time, depending on the model. This is helpful for managing different numbers or carrier plans.
-
Dual SIM capability: iPhones with eSIM technology allow you to use two phone numbers at once, using either a combination of eSIM and physical SIM or two eSIMs.
-
Convenience: eSIMs make it simple to set up mobile service, especially when traveling internationally or managing work and personal numbers.
